Turkey and Ukraine are expanding cooperation in the field of container transportation

On March 9, Turkey and Ukraine agreed to expand cooperation in the field of container transportation between the two countries.
This is stated in the declaration following the meeting in Ankara under
presidency of the presidents of the two countries. The text of the declaration can be found on the website of the President of Ukraine.
The parties agreed to hold negotiations on updating agreements on mutual protection of investments and avoidance of double taxation and ensure the signing of these documents in the near future. The declaration also states that Turkey and Ukraine will complete negotiations on a bilateral free trade zone.
In addition, the countries intend to implement joint high-tech projects in the field of aircraft manufacturing and the defense industry.
