According to the data of the “Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine”, cargo handling in the sea ports of Ukraine amounted to 19 million 989 thousand tons, which is 14.5% lower than in 2015.
Cargo handling of export cargo in the seaports of Ukraine amounted to 15 million tons, import cargo - 3 million 26 thousand tons.
Transshipment of transit cargo amounted to 1 million 912 thousand tons, domestic traffic - 48.32 thousand tons.
Container handling at seaports during the reporting period increased by 4% and amounted to 90,851 TEU.
State port operators processed 5 million 690 thousand tons (28.5% total volume). Other port operators processed 14 million 299 thousand tons (71.5% total volume).
